So here's our new digs. Pretty nice, huh?Just kidding, this is a picture of the Alhambra, a palace and fortress complex of the Moorish rulers of Granada in Southern Spain constructed in the 14th century.
Actually, we are beginning the final countdown to our trip in T minus 8 days. I'm a little nervous about this trip because our last flying experience was pretty sketchy (cancelled flights, 8 hours spent in the Atlanta airport, arriving home at 2 a.m., etc.,).
However, we are each looking forward to our trip for different reasons:
Collin: walking
Tara: Manchego cheese, walking and learning to use my new Cannon Rebel
Aidan: FANTA
Emma: chocolate croissants
Ian: tapas
We're most nervous about:
Collin: our Lewisburg home burning down while we're gone
Tara: making a fool of myself trying to communicate with people
Aidan: school
Emma: meeting other people who talk to me in Spanish because I don't know it
Ian: I can't speak Spanish at all (this isn't true, he is probably one of the best in our family)
